Photography
Alongside my teaching career, I have worked professionally as a portrait, wedding, and documentary photographer, including assignments for NGOs and other organizations. My photography has been featured in exhibitions and used commercially, including as album cover artwork. These experiences continue to influence my teaching, particularly in composition, observation, visual storytelling, and creative expression.
Portrait Photography
Throughout my career as a professional photographer, I have photographed weddings, families, and individual portraits. I enjoy capturing the personalities, relationships, and unique stories of my subjects, using light, composition, and thoughtful framing to create images that feel both natural and expressive.
Documentary Photography
My documentary photography focuses on people, cultures, and everyday life, particularly during my years living and working internationally. Through personal projects, NGO collaborations, and exhibitions such as Women of Strength, I've explored photography as a way to tell stories, capture authentic moments, and celebrate the resilience and character of the people I've encountered.
Fine Art Photography
My fine art photography explores the beauty of everyday scenes through composition, light, color, texture, and perspective. Whether capturing a dramatic landscape or finding abstract patterns in nature, I enjoy transforming ordinary moments into images that invite viewers to look a little closer and see the world differently.

Sketchbook and Mixed Media
My personal art practice is a space for curiosity, experimentation, and creative play. I enjoy exploring expressive drawing, abstract painting, collage, and mixed media, often combining bold color, loose lines, and unexpected textures. These studies reflect my belief that art is as much about exploration and discovery as it is about the finished result.
Digital Design
My digital art acts as a bridge between my camera and my sketchbook. Using Procreate and Photoshop, I love to layer photos, hand drawn elements and digital paint to create expressive collages.
